of chicken, firetrucks, and novelty songs..

finally, i have returned from Kamp Pag-asa..
oh what an experience it has been.

i arrived at that camp feeling like an outcast.
but after the camp, it's like i was leaving home..

i miss the children.
i miss my fellow volunteers.
i miss the camp staff..

but i definitely won't miss the food.. hehe

pucha napagod talaga ako sa camp na yun.. nag-alaga ako ng isang bulag pero parang tatlong bulag ang binabantayan ko.. "three blind mice, three blind mice... "

yung mga autistic ang okay..

paborito ko yung mahilig magpa-kalmot ng likod at ang kaya lang sabihin ay mga conversation ng ibang tao at least 2 hours ago.. (how cool is that?!!)
he keeps repeating "aruy, nipilit ang chicken.." over and over whenever he is calm..

naobserbahan ko ring special children are curiously responsive to novelty songs.. bakit kaya?
hmm..

ano pa ba..

pagkain namin puro manok, kung di manok, boiled egg naman.. geez..

first time ko ring maligo gamit ang tubig galing sa firetruck.. enjoy talaga mga bata.. (pati volunteers)

nagkaroon ako ng bagong mga kaibigan..

ah basta! ako ngayon ay nagbalik mula sa Kamp Pag-asa na puno ng pag-asang makakabalik akong muli next year..

at home ako eh.. (does this mean that i am "special" too?!)
